About Us

Military Morale Gear

Born in the blast radius of real experience.

I’m Darren Wheeldon, a former U.S. Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technician. During my tour in Afghanistan, our team dismantled more than 150 improvised explosive devices (IEDs). When I returned, the Army maxed out my promotion points, and the decision to hang up the uniform came easy. With guidance from friends who had already made the jump, I transitioned into civilian unexploded ordnance (UXO) contracting—a career I’ve pursued for over a decade. Like anyone who’s worn the EOD badge, I learned fast that dark humor and brotherhood aren’t just coping mechanisms—they’re survival tools.

Service runs deep in my bloodline. I come from a family of veterans, with generations on both sides who answered the call. My wife’s grandfather served proudly in Vietnam, and that legacy of sacrifice, resilience, and quiet strength is the foundation of who we are.

That’s why I built Military Morale Gear.

We craft high-quality morale patches, tactical accessories, apparel, and gear for those who live the life: service members, veterans, first responders, and anyone who respects the culture. These patches aren’t just decorations—they’re markers of identity. They carry the stories we’ve lived, the units we’ve served with, the missions we’ve run, and the inside jokes only those who’ve been there will ever truly understand.

From sarcastic EOD designs to branch pride, unit-specific nods, or fully custom work, every piece we make is rooted in the same values that define military service: integrity, excellence, and looking out for your own.

This is a veteran-owned and operated small business. Supporting us means supporting the community that never stops serving.

Thank you for standing with us.

Welcome to the team.
